Sprayerbarn are agricultural equipment suppliers. The owners are committed to ensuring they have a safe place of work for their customers, staff and visitors. The farming industry is traditionally a high risk industry and often comes under the scrutiney of workplace safety inspectors.
Steve Blaxland the Managing director of Sprayerbarn is straight to the point about workplace safety. "Everyone has to have a safe place of work by law. It's not a choice really, you'd be crazy not to have something in place."
After setting up their system, Sprayerbarn started with their emergency management plan which was developed in the EasyOHS system and then moved on to key policies and safework procedures which were downloaded from the EasyOHS system. They will now work through these and ensure that staff are inducted and are consulted about safety procedures.
