Boys death - quad bike safety

The death of a 12-year-old boy in a quad bike accident near Gladstone on Tuesday has again led to calls for governments to introduce tougher safety measures for the popular farm vehicles. The boy is the fifth person to die in a quad bike accident this year and the second child. Worksafe Victoria Urges Farm Caution on Safety

Victoria's workplace safety regulator is concerned about the number of deaths on farms across the state. WorkSafe Victoria says a farm fatality in the state's north this week is the sixth this year so far.
