This safety alert is published as a result of a recent incident where a worker was struck by a scaffold plank that fell 30 metres.
The plank and other scaffolding components were dislodged when a materials hoist was raising a load adjacent to the scaffolding. The worker suffered serious head and spinal injuries.To view the alert issued from Workcover NSW - press here
