The push by the Australian Federal Government for national safety laws has been delayed, after a meeting of state ministers failed to agree on a model for the new occupational health and safety bill.
Queensland Industrial Relations Minister, Cameron Dick outlined that they needed more time to consider the proposal. At this stage a further meeting is scheduled for some time in May.
